The Wayland Montessori School has been serving preschool children ages two years, 9 months through age six since 1974. We provide a demonstration of the Montessori method in its truest form. The Wayland Montessori Preschool adheres to the system of Early Childhood Education created by Maria Montessori, which is based on observation and experimentation with children from diverse backgrounds. The Montessori method employs scientifically designed educational tools that respond to the specific stages of development universal to all children.

The program is customized for each individual child. The Wayland Montessori Preschool provides a safe and stimulating environment. With discovery and exploration children develop lifetime social, physical, emotional, and spiritual attitudes that lay a solid foundation for a socially responsible adulthood.
