What a Child Notices at Our Farmers Market Table
Set up a table with fun, hands-on activity and coloring at a farmers market, and something interesting happens. The children settle in and focus on their work. They stop pulling their grown ups toward the next booth. That quiet focus gives parents a few minutes to talk with our team.
It is a small window, but it says a lot about how children work. Give them something purposeful to do with their hands, and their attention follows. That is the same idea behind every material in our Montessori classrooms, just on a smaller, portable scale.
Our team is back at the farmers market on August 29 as the new school year gets close. We still have a few spots open in our toddler and preschool programs. A conversation at our table is a relaxed way to start learning about our school.
If you have a child who is curious, capable, and ready for a hands on classroom, come find us.
