Behind the Scenes: How Our Team Prepared for the New Year

Before your child steps into the classroom this fall, our team spends a full week getting ready. This year, that preparation happened over the days leading up to September 4. It touched every corner of our school.

Our teachers spent one day deep cleaning their rooms. They spent another day setting up shelves, materials, and workspaces just so. A team building day gave our staff a chance to reconnect before the busy pace of the year begins. On the final days, our teaching team reviewed the four core areas of the Montessori classroom. They practiced with materials and walked back through our daily routine.

Much of this work repeats every year, and our teachers know it well. Even so, our team treats it seriously. A well prepared classroom is one of the quiet ways we support your child's independence from day one.
